Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Transport Planner to support a construction and mining equipment client based in Derby. The role involves end-to-end logistics management, including shipping and customs documentation. Successful candidates must have strong organizational skills and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel. This position offers a pay rate of £16.85 per hour PAYE, or £22.87 per hour Umbrella, and requires on-site work 5 days a week in a flexible shift arrangement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in logistics or shipping.
• Strong attention to detail while working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and ship customer orders to global distribution partners.
• Complete export documentation including invoices and shipping notes.
• Liaise with customers and carriers for time-sensitive bookings.
• Manage freight invoice process and highlight exceptions.
• Adapt work schedule to meet business needs.
