This is an excellent opportunity for an internationally experienced, commercially strong, Sales Manager to join a highly regarded, market-leading company. The company has ambitious plans for significant growth of their speciality vinyl polymers (SVP) through increased market and customer penetration, building stronger relationships, and a relentless commercial approach.

Reporting to the Business Director, SVP, the appointee will be fully accountable for managing all sales activities to deliver budgeted sales volume and gross margin. Responsibilities include devising and implementing sales plans to grow sales, developing, motivating, and leading direct reports to ensure effective delivery of customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Devising and implementing sales plans to grow sales in line with the annual budget and 5-year plan
  • Developing, motivating, coaching, and leading direct reports to ensure effective delivery of customer needs
  • Targeting market and service development as a key component of future margin growth
  • Collaborating closely with all areas of the business to ensure common purpose and a coordinated approach
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree level or equivalent in a science or technical discipline
  • Track record of inspirational sales team leadership, strategic thinking, and strong teamwork
  • High level of integrity and a desire to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Experienced in leading commercial teams, developing and successfully negotiating and closing new business opportunities

Candidates should demonstrate drive, tenacity, presence, and strong financial awareness, coupled with exemplary communication, data management, and presentation skills.
