As an Associate in GBP Rates Trading within our London team, you will work closely with experienced traders to make markets and manage risk across the Sterling franchise. You will collaborate with Sales to meet client needs and partner with Operations, Technology, and Finance to drive business progress, all while maintaining a strong focus on the control agenda. You will be part of a supportive team culture, where your analytical skills and market insight will be highly valued.

Job Responsibilities
  • Make markets and manage risk across the Sterling franchise in partnership with experienced GBP traders
  • Develop a strong analytical understanding of securities and interest rate pricing
  • Collaborate with Sales to deliver solutions that meet client needs
  • Work with Operations, Technology, and Finance teams to progress the business and uphold the control agenda
  • React quickly to changing market environments and support team objectives
  • Apply strong Excel skills to analyse data and support trading activities
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in markets and macro trends
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
