A prestigious academic institution in Edinburgh seeks a Global Health Clinical Research Facilitator to support efforts in international clinical research. The role includes liaising with researchers and regulatory agencies to uphold the University's legal and ethical responsibilities. Grade UE07: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum (pro rata if part time)

We are seeking a Global Health Clinical Research Facilitator to join our Research Governance team.
The Opportunity
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within ACCORD, the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian’s joint research office. As part of the Research Governance team, you will play a key role in supporting the University’s responsibilities as a Sponsor of global health clinical research. You will act as a central point of expertise, liaising with researchers, overseas collaborators, funders, and regulatory agencies to ensure that international clinical research is designed, initiated, and delivered to the highest standards. This role will enable you to contribute to the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of research that has global impact, while helping to safeguard the University’s legal and ethical obligations.

The role involves acting as a central point of expertise within the Research Governance team to support the University’s responsibilities as a Sponsor of global health clinical research. Responsibilities include liaising with researchers, overseas collaborators, funders and regulatory agencies to ensure international clinical research is designed, initiated, and delivered to high standards; contributing to safe, compliant and efficient research delivery; and safeguarding the University’s legal and ethical obligations.
