Global Head of Communications Job, based in London with frequent European and Global travel

A leading biotech and diagnostics company is seeking a visionary and strategic Global Head of Communications, based in London with frequent European and international travel.

As the senior lead, you will design and deliver a global communications strategy across external brand and corporate communications, executive visibility, internal engagement, and proactive media relations. This is a high-profile role at the intersection of healthcare, science, and corporate reputation, offering the chance to shape the company’s narrative on a global stage

Knowledge/Experience – Head of Communications Job:
  • Proven success in executing communications strategies and campaigns globally.
  • Proven success in internal and external communications
  • Proven success in navigating complex organisations.
  • Must have experience in pharmaceutical and scientific communications,
  • Experience in Leadership visibility and working with the C-Suite
  • Must be agile, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with high levels of diplomacy
Key Responsibilities – Head of Communications Job:
  • Help establish and drive the long- and short-term global communications strategy for corporate communications, internal communications, media strategy, digital and social strategy, story development and agency management.
  • Develop and drive effective and engaging internal and external storytelling that is relevant and effective at engaging a variety of audiences.
  • Drive awareness of the brand as the world leaders in their field enhancing online and social-media presence driving media strategy to increase awareness and publication in markets with key facilities
  • Raise company profile in the biotech and academic worlds, with a view to cultivating partnerships and licensing discussions
  • Cultivate and lead internal brand allies, helping them to execute local initiatives and roll out the global strategy.
  • Inspire employees to excel in performance and deliver on company commitments
