Role Overview
Sexy Fish is a globally recognised luxury restaurant brand operating at the intersection of art, fashion, music, food and culture. We are seeking a Global Art Director to lead and evolve the visual brand identity of Sexy Fish worldwide, ensuring a powerful, consistent and culturally relevant creative expression across London, Manchester, Dubai and Miami.
This role owns the global creative vision for Sexy Fish, overseeing both physical and digital creative, whilst balancing brand consistency with regional nuance. From campaign concepts and events to costuming, guest gifting, interiors "moments" and digital marketing, you will ensure every visual touchpoint feels premium, intentional and unmistakably Sexy Fish.
You will be both a creative visionary and brand guardian, responsible for shaping how Sexy Fish looks, feels and is experienced globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Visual Brand Identity & Consistency
- Own and evolve the global visual brand identity of Sexy Fish across all markets.
- Act as the guardian of brand consistency, ensuring all creative output aligns with Sexy Fish's tone, aesthetic and ambition.
- Balance global brand standards with a strong awareness of regional and cultural nuances, ensuring relevance in each market.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, creative frameworks and visual systems.
2. Creative Direction & Concept Ideation
- Lead beginning-to-end creative ideation, from initial concept through to execution.
- Generate bold, original ideas that elevate the brand and create cultural impact.
- Translate brand strategy into compelling visual narratives across physical and digital.
- Continuously push creative boundaries whilst protecting brand integrity.
3. Campaign & Digital Marketing Creative
- Oversee creative development for global and regional marketing campaigns.
- Art direct content across digital channels including social, paid media, websites, CRM and partnerships.
- Ensure digital output is visually compelling, on-trend and aligned with the physical brand experience. It's crucial to portray Sexy Fish as the luxury brand that it is, whilst also retaining the sense of fun and playfulness.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure creative drives both engagement and commercial results.
4. Physical Creative & Environment
- Lead creative direction for all on-site brand expression, including:
- In-venue visuals and styling
- Menus and printed materials
- Installations, props and experiential moments
- Ensure physical environments feel immersive, theatrical and globally consistent whilst allowing for local personality.
- Work closely with operations and venue teams to ensure creative concepts are feasible, deliverable and impactful.
5. Events, Experiences & Cultural Moments
- Conceptualise and creatively direct events, takeovers, launches and brand partnerships.
- Create immersive experiences that translate seamlessly from concept to live execution.
- Ensure events feel culturally relevant, visually iconic and socially shareable.
- Maintain a cohesive creative thread between live experiences and digital amplification.
6. Costume Design & Visual Styling
- Lead creative direction for costumes, uniforms and performance looks.
- Develop fashion-forward styling concepts aligned with the Sexy Fish aesthetic.
- Collaborate with designers, stylists and costume makers to deliver standout visual moments.
- Refresh and evolve looksally while maintaining recognisable brand DNA.
7. Guest Gifting & Brand Touchpoints
- Oversee creative direction for guest gifting and physical brand touchpoints.
- Design premium, collectible items that enhance guest experience and brand desirability.
- Maintain a commercial awareness of costing and ROI when liaising with suppliers.
- Ensure gifting aligns with key campaigns, events, VIP moments and seasonal initiatives.
8. Trend, Culture & Industry Awareness
- Maintain a deep understanding of global trends across fashion, art, nightlife, music, hospitality and digital culture.
- Bring fresh inspiration and forward-thinking ideas to the brand.
- Anticipate cultural shifts and ensure Sexy Fish remains ahead of the curve.
- Translate trend insight into commercially and creatively relevant executions.
9. Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with global and regional marketing, PR, operations and leadership teams.
- Inspire and guide internal teams and external creative partners.
- Present creative ideas confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects across markets with clarity, pace and attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as an Art Director / Senior Creative within luxury hospitality, fashion, lifestyle, nightlife or cultural brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating global brand work, campaigns, experiential projects and digital creative.
- Experience managing visual identity across multiple markets.
- Excellent understanding of both physical brand environments and digital marketing.
- Strong eye for detail, styling, composition and visual storytelling.
