At Kuehne+Nagel, we’re looking for a Global Franken? Global Air Logistics Vertical Implementation Manager (f/m/d) to lead strategic projects that drive transformation across our global network. If you excel at turning complex challenges into actionable plans, guiding cross‑functional teams, and delivering impactful results for high‑profile customers, this is your chance to make a real difference on an international stage.

How you create impact
  • Lead project definition, scope, and objectives by collaborating with stakeholders. Create detailed plans, including timelines, resource and risk management.
  • Guide teams, ensuring alignment with goals. Monitor progress, address deviations, and maintain proactive issue resolution.
  • Allocate and secure resources, collaborating with functional managers for expertise and success.
  • Build strong relationships, communicate status, be transparent and highlight opportunities effectively.
  • Ensure deliverables meet Kuehne+Nagel and ISO 21205 standards, conduct evaluations, and suggest and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the stakeholders of the assigned PMO vertical within the Sales and BU Air organization to develop and lead strategic internal projects to further grow the success of vertical specific implementation management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage scope changes professionally for successful integration.
  • Serve as a patient mentor, coaching, sharing best practices, fostering learning, and guiding junior managers on the assigned vertical requirements.
What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, including at least 3 years of air freight forwarding (sea freight experience may be considered).
  • Proven_SCRIPT handle: proven track record of minimum 5 years as a Project/Program Manager, successfully delivering complex global projects within a business vertical.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple senior‑level stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in cross‑functional collaboration, working effectively with diverse teams across commercial, operational, and technical functions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software; PMP, PMI, or Prince2 certification is a plus (flexibility on formal training).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with resilience and professionalism under pressure, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
