Job summary

A global mobility data company is seeking a Data Operations Specialist in Birmingham to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data products. Responsibilities include quality assurance, data review, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience with QGIS. Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in CRUD operations (SQL).
  • Proficiency using Python to perform data manipulation jobs.
  • Experience using QGIS to view and analyze geospatial data.
  • Experience using spreadsheets for data validation.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance and Control of ground truth data assets.
  • Review and approval of internal and customer map updates.
  • Testing and monitoring the performance of data and predictions.
  • Researching and organizing data sources for updating datasets.
  • Digitizing map features from satellite and street scene imagery.
  • Resolving data issues and requests from customers and teams.
