Qualifications

What you’ll be doing

You will play an integral role in unlocking the potential of a vast array of development sites by working within a dedicated and enthusiastic team to provide innovative contaminated land and ground engineering solutions.

From the early stages of desk studies, through to designing and undertaking ground investigations and associated assessments to assist with planning and design, you will gain valued experience working on a varied portfolio of projects.

There are many opportunities to broaden your expertise at Curtins, from our in‑house training programmes and academy to on‑the‑job experience with peers. You will be part of a wider business unit that works together to provide friendly support for all staff.

What we need from you
  • Accredited degree in a relevant geo‑environmental or geotechnical discipline and an eagerness to achieve chartership status (Geological Society, CIWEM or Equivalent)
  • Previous experience in the organisation, management and delivery of ground investigations
  • Enjoys a diverse working environment, from office‑based responsibilities to operational construction sites and remote greenfield locations
  • Capable of producing written reports to a high standard including presenting technical information clearly and concisely, ideally with some experience of writing desk top studies and ground investigation reports.
  • An understanding of relevant industry guidance documentation and experience of implementing the associated recognised practices
