Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Science Teachers to join a network of secondary schools across Norwich and the wider Norfolk area. These roles are ideal for teachers who enjoy sharing their passion for science and inspiring curiosity in students from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE. Beginning ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4.

  • Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of mixed-ability groups.

  • Use practical experiments to encourage investigative thinking and scientific enquiry.

  • Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the science curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs or field trips.

Ideal General Science Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or recognised equivalent.

  • Strong subject knowledge across the science disciplines.

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a General Science Teacher.

  • A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities.

  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
