Job Description
General Practitioner

Brand new opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Agency Bank to work within General Practice, based across Essex.

The role is based within the GP Practice or OOH Service, primarily utilizing your clinical expertise and professional knowledge to assess and manage patients in face-to-face settings. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care when normal primary care services are closed.

Your responsibilities include providing timely, high-quality clinical care during base visits and supporting telephone triage between patients requiring face-to-face care. Adherence to local prescribing guidelines and maintaining accurate, up-to-date medical records with proper documentation and coding is essential for service audit and monitoring.

You will provide clinical advice and support to non-medical team members as needed, working closely with primary care, acute and specialist services, Urgent Community Response (UCR), Hospital at Home, Single Point of Access (SPA), community services, social services, mental health services, and voluntary organizations, both clinically and in service development.
