A healthcare provider in the justice system is seeking a General Practitioner to join their team at HMP Pentonville. This full-time role involves delivering first-class care to male patients with complex health needs. We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Pentonville, a category B remand Prison located in Islington close to Caledonian Road Station. The site houses around1180 male patients aged 18+, many of whom have complex health needs and have previously been disconnected from the healthcare system. Ideal applicants will be passionate about working with disadvantaged patients and feel confident working in a busy every changing environment supporting with primary care, substance misuse and mental health needs.
Hours
This position will involve a mixture of standard and long days
Standard day 2 session/ 8 hours
Long day 3 sessions/12 hours
Applicant must be able to work late evenings up to 10pm
Salary
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, the salary is up to £130,000 per annum depending on experience
Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks
