Responsibilities

  • Providing a Portering and messenger service including the transfer of patients and visitors.
  • Managing waste within Weston Hospital.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and attending trust training.
  • Responding to emergency bleeps for cardiac arrest, fire, and trauma.
  • Assisting with other tasks as required.

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting General Porters to work within the team to provide a comprehensive Portering service of a high standard across the Weston General Hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in our patient friendly hospital.

Schedule

Shift pattern rolling rota covering Monday-Sunday from 7am to Midnight, 37.5 hours.

Responsibilities
  • Providing a Portering and messenger service including the transfer of patients and visitors between wards and departments
  • The movement and management of waste within Weston Hospital
  • Maintaining confidentiality and attending trust training
  • Responding to emergency bleeps including cardiac arrest, fire, and major trauma.
  • Assisting with other tasks as and when required.
