Job description

Groomfield Recruitment are currently recruiting a General Operative for our well-established and growing client based in Tamworth (B79). These roles offer long-term opportunities for the right candidates who show commitment, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Location: Tamworth B79

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours: 06:00 to 16:30 - 4 out of 5 days per week (Mon-Fri rotation)

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Overtime: Paid at £18.23 per hour

Duties As A General Operative

• Loading and unloading machinery
• Weighing and preparing stock
• Machine minding
• General stock movement around the factory
• Some heavy lifting (up to 20kg)
• Palletising and labelling stock
• Supporting the goods-out process
