General Manager- Premium Lifestyle Club

Up to £60,000 +50% bonus, £90,000 genuine O.T.E. + excellent benefits

We are looking for a General Manager for a wonderful premium lifestyle club on the outskirts of Kent/Southeast London with lots of potential. The club champions junior and adult members to be more active and has a real sense of community hosting regular events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, develop and inspire your team, fostering a culture of service excellence and drive for results.
  • Support your department heads deliver a best in class offering to ensure the right products are seamlessly delivered at the right time to maximise participation and secondary spend.
  • Work closely with the Membership department to develop the proactive sales strategy.
  • Develop and grow a calendar of events for members and non-members to enjoy.
  • Full financial accountability; profit and loss, income, expenditure, debtors; helping set the budgets and business plan.
  • Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained, clean and safe at all times.
The ideal person
  • Well-groomed, highly personable and professional with outstanding hospitality skills.
  • Hands-on and strategic approach to leadership with an ownership mentality and entrepreneurial flair.
  • At least 3 years' leadership experience as a General Manager/ Club Manager preferably within a membership environment such as hospitality, hotels, leisure, fitness, racquets or golf.
  • Experience of overseeing a busy food and beverage operation.
  • Experience in managing a sales function and growing sales.
  • Flexible to work a mixture of hours to suit the needs of the business including weekends during peak periods.
