Financial Management & Planning
- Oversee company-wide financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to company management for business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Accounting Operations
- Supervise all accounting activities including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
- Ensure proper recording, classification, and documentation of financial transactions.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.
- Track and monitor project-wise expenses, land development costs, construction expenditures and marketing costs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer booking, advances, instalments and outstanding balance.
Compliance, Audit & Internal Control
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Income tax and other regularity requirements applicable to real estate operation.
- Establish and strengthen internal control systems across accounting processes.
- Coordinate with internal auditors and manage external audit activities efficiently.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, budget variance reports, and management dashboards.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely submission of all financial reports.
- Analyze financial risks and propose mitigation measures.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor liquidity, working capital, and fund flow requirements.
- Manage banking operations, loan facilities, LC/Bank guarantees, and financial institution relationships.
- Recommend cost optimization and financial efficiency strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the Accounts & Finance team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training for skill enhancement.
- Maintain a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Policy, Systems & Process Improvement
- Develop and update financial policies, SOPs, and accounting guidelines.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives (ERP/Accounting Software).
- Ensure smooth integration between Finance and other departments.
Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, HR, Procurement, Legal, and Operations teams for financial alignment.
Provide project-wise cost tracking and financial support for real estate development activities.
