We are looking for a General Manager to join our Building Services at Northwood.

Key responsibilities:

  • Full profit and accountability for projects, responsible for the delivery of Hard and potentially Soft Services, and overseeing project works.
  • Lead and develop operations, technical compliance, Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental management.
  • Utilize experience in Hard FM, productivity, profitability improvement, small works, lifecycle works, cultural change, management information, and mobilisation to enhance contract delivery and support work winning.
  • Understand the contract operationally and commercially, set targets, report progress monthly, and proactively manage risks to maximize profitability.

Qualifications and experience:

  • A strong leader with operational, commercial, and financial expertise, capable of providing clear direction to a diverse team.
  • Experience managing contract P&L, project service delivery, and FM contract mobilisations.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a professional qualification.
  • Experience across various FM sectors and markets.
  • Ability to hold SC security clearance, with awareness of UK residency requirements for security vetting.

This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may involve higher levels of National Security Vetting. Candidates must meet UK residency requirements, and dual or multiple nationalities should be declared. Failure to meet these requirements may result in ineligibility for the role.
