Want to join a rapidly developing Fresh Produce Business? We are currently seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager with the ambition and capability to take on full General Manager responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a modern fresh produce business.

You’ll be joining a business that is scaling up, investing heavily in new technology, and looking for a hands‑on leader who can take ownership of day‑to‑day performance while also supporting new approaches to sustainable food production.

The Opportunity
  • Lead a small, close‑knit on‑site team
  • Take full responsibility for planning, scheduling, quality, production, and labour management
  • Oversee plant health, hygiene standards, and consistent product quality in a controlled environment
  • Support new development projects, and technology testing
  • Manage site calendars and operational resource planning
  • Work closely with technical, maintenance, planning and quality functions
Ideal Background

We are looking for someone who brings a blend of operational expertise and an understanding of working with live plants in a high‑care or controlled environment.

  • Practical understanding of quality, hygiene, and crop care
  • Comfortable managing a small team and scaling processes as the site grows
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to represent the site internally and externally
  • Someone who takes ownership, enjoys autonomy, and wants the responsibility of running their own site
