Overview

Garden Centre Team Member – Plants (Part Time). Hours including weekends. Fully flexible. At British Garden Centres, we aim to deliver a great experience in our Centres and create an exceptional customer service experience.

You will be the heart of our operations in the plants department, ensuring customers have the best experience in store.

Responsibilities

• Plant maintenance and care.
• Plant watering.
• Helping customers with their purchases including giving advice.
• Pricing, displaying & merchandising of a variety of products.
• Quality customer service.
• General daily housekeeping.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic knowledge of horticulture.
• The role does involve heavy lifting and pulling large trollies, so you must be physically fit.
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
• Work well under pressure.
• Professionalism and reliability.
• Good time management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed.
