Overview

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students. To apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The Faculty Outreach team is seeking to recruit four students currently studying Games Design to support chaperoning groups attending Games Design Taster Day. The aim of the taster day is to give Year 12 and Year 13 students, who are interested in studying a creative and/or digital subject at university, an insight into the careers within the industry and the range of creative and digital courses available at university to help students make more informed choices. You will be expected to provide a positive and informative perspective on all aspects of studying here at Manchester Met and being a part of the Manchester Met University community.

Responsibilities
  • Chaperone and move groups between sessions throughout the day.
  • Answer questions about university as you walk the students around. Direct complex questions to Outreach and teaching staff where needed.

Qualifications
  • Currently studying Games Design.
  • General knowledge of Information and Guidance (IAG) and can share own experiences.
  • Confident when working with groups.
