Opportunity

The Martins Funeral Directors – Crawley are currently looking for a casual Funeral Service Operative. The hours are varied and there is the opportunity to fit the role around your other commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide reassurance to families and support them through the process.
  • Assist with bringing loved ones into our care.
  • Work behind the scenes in the mortuary, fitting coffins and dressing the deceased.
  • Participate in funeral services, pallbearing and ensuring everything proceeds smoothly.
  • Drive company vehicles – a full driving licence required.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours and on‑call rota, allowing you to earn additional payments.
Important Information

Hourly rate includes a £0.60 per hour Weighting Allowance.
