Job description

Center for Climate Crime Analysis (CCCA) is looking for a Fundraising Coordinator.

Overview:
  • Full-time or part-time contractor
  • Language: English
  • Location: Anywhere (Remote)
  • Salary: €3,200 – €4,000 per month (depending on experience and time commitment)
  • Applications closing: 20th February
Job Description

The Fundraising Coordinator is a central support role designed to strengthen CCCA’s fundraising systems, coordination, and internal processes. The position plays a key role in enabling effective donor engagement by senior leadership and Program Directors, while ensuring that grant tracking, donor documentation, and fundraising workflows are well organised, timely, and aligned.

This is not a senior fundraising or donor-owning role. Instead, it is a hands‑on coordination position suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and follow‑through to complex, multi‑stakeholder work.

The role is ideal for someone with experience in philanthropic or institutional fundraising who is comfortable working in organisations that are still evolving their systems and practices.

Responsibilities
Fundraising Coordination and Grant Management
  • Track grant opportunities, application deadlines, renewals, and reporting requirements across the organisation
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of donor and grant information
  • Support compliance with donor requirements in collaboration with Programs and Finance
Internal Coordination
  • Act as a coordination point between Programs, Finance, Communications, and Leadership on fundraising-related activities
  • Support Program Directors and the Executive Director with fundraising timelines, information flow, and preparation
  • Help maintain clarity and alignment across multiple fundraising streams
Donor Research and Preparation
  • Research philanthropic and institutional donors, including funding priorities, giving patterns, and expectations
  • Prepare donor profiles, briefing notes, and background materials for meetings led by senior staff
  • Assist with follow‑up communications and documentation after donor engagements
Systems and Documentation
  • Maintain and improve fundraising trackers, databases, and document management systems
  • Support analysis and reporting on fundraising progress and funding pipelines
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of fundraising processes and tools
Role Requirements

We are looking for someone who brings strong coordination skills, clear written and oral communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Essential
  • Excellent written English
  • Strong organisational and tracking skills, with high attention to detail
  • Experience supporting fundraising, grant management, or donor coordination in a non‑profit, NGO, or mission‑driven organisation
  • Ability to work collaboratively across programs and cultures in a remote environment
  • Comfort working in a growing organisation that is still developing its systems
Highly Desirable
  • Experience with philanthropic or institutional climate or environmental funders
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills
  • Familiarity with Latin American contexts or international civil society work
  • Experience with donor databases, grant trackers, or CRM systems
