Overview

Full-time Secondary P.E. Teacher Needed in East Birmingham.


Start date: September 2025 - Ongoing



Responsibilities


  • Teach Physical Education to secondary school students across the relevant year groups, and ideally KS5 classes.

  • Take on a timetable which includes all year groups within the secondary range and may involve covering other subjects as part of the weekly timetable.

  • Cover maternity absence initially, with potential for further work at the school for the right candidate.

  • Support pupil progress and contribute to a positive learning environment; experience or willingness to cover other subjects as needed.



Qualifications


  • QTS or a broad range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma.

  • Experience in the sports coaching and/or education sector.

  • Ability to deliver high-quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum.

  • Knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and the ability to implement strategies with a class of 30 children.
