Overview

Are you a resilient individual with previous experience supporting individuals with special educational needs? We’d love to hear from you! We are looking for two long-term primary SEND teaching assistants for both part-time and full-time roles locally in Wednesbury to support young people with SEND needs. Axcis are the long-term staffing supplier to both schools, and we know the welcoming, passionate and inclusive staff environment that will help you settle in and focus on supporting students.

In-school experience is highly desirable; however, if you have experience in care, residential or similar backgrounds, we’d love to discuss these roles with you to see if this may be the perfect next step for you.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Be prepared to provide an up-to-date DBS or allow Axcis to process one on your behalf
  • Willing to comply with mandatory safeguarding checks in line with DfE guidelines
  • Must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and prepared to attend a face-to-face interview
  • Salary/pay rate dependent on skills and experience
