Job Overview

Full time Nanny housekeeper role near Alresford, SO24. The family are looking for a full time Nanny housekeeper for their 5 year old daughter. The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, throughout the year. There may be some very occasional overnight babysitting, agreed in advance. The property is a large 5 bedroom home; when mum is working from home, she may pop down and say hello on occasion. This is a sole charge, live out position.

Responsibilities

• School pick up.
• Assisting with reading and homework.
• Regular nursery duties such as children's laundry, keeping children's areas tidy during the school day.
• Light housekeeping/home help tasks including keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, family laundry, food shopping.
• Occasional dog walking and help watering the garden.
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the little girl, batch cooking.
• During school holidays, planning fun days out to soft play, the seaside, the park, swimming or the farm; setting up craft activities, exploring garden and fields, making up games, arranging/hosting playdates at home.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years professional nanny housekeeper experience.
• Paediatric first aid certificate.
• Ideally a formal childcare qualification or suitable experience with similar age.
• Up-to-date enhanced eDBS certificate registered on the service.
• Minimum of two professional referees, one of whom must be current or last employer and both immediately contactable.
• Appropriate personal insurance; optional personal insurance recommended.
• Driving licence; Range Rover will be provided for use while on duty.
• Pet: 1 dog; dog walking allowed.

Working Conditions

Hours: 9am to 6pm, 5 days a week (9 hours per day). Permanent role. Start date: ASAP.
