Job description
Full time Nanny Housekeeper role near Alresford, SO24

This family is looking for a full-time Nanny housekeeper for their 5‑year‑old daughter. The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, throughout the year. There may be some very occasional overnight babysitting, agreed in advance. The property is a large 5 bedroom home; when mum is working from home, she may pop down and say hello on occasion. This is a sole charge, live‑out position.

During term time duties include school pick up, assisting with reading/homework and all usual nursery duties such as children’s laundry, keeping children’s areas tidy during the school day. Light housekeeping/home help tasks include keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, family laundry, food shopping, occasional dog walking and help watering the garden. The family have a cleaner. The ideal nanny housekeeper would be confident preparing healthy meals and snacks for the little girl and batch cooking too.

During school holidays the role will become more childcare focused, planning fun days out to soft play, seaside, park, swimming or farm. Also setting up crafts activities, exploring the large garden and surrounding fields, making up games and arranging/hosting playdates at home.
