The Role

We’re looking for a highly competent Full Stack Web Developer to join us. You’ll work closely with our designers and project managers to deliver bespoke web solutions, primarily using PHP, WordPress, and Laravel, while contributing to technical decisions across projects.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working across the full stack, from backend architecture and databases to polished, responsive front-end builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain bespoke WordPress themes and plugins
  • Build and support Laravel-based applications
  • Write clean, secure, and maintainable PHP
  • Collaborate closely with designers to deliver pixel-accurate implementations
  • Optimise performance, security, and scalability across projects
  • Debug, maintain, and extend existing websites and applications
  • Contribute to code reviews, technical standards, and best practices
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong commercial experience with PHP
  • Advanced WordPress development, including:
    • Custom theme builds
    • Custom plugin development
    • ACF and bespoke content architectures
  • Solid experience working with Laravel
  • Strong understanding of MySQL / relational databases
  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bonus / Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with React
  • Working knowledge of Tailwind CSS
  • Shopify theme development and customisation
  • App development experience (web apps, mobile apps, or PWAs)
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs
  • Agency experience or working across multiple client projects
