Part time and Full Time Support Worker
Location : Family home
Hours : Part time and full time available. 4 Week rolling rota.
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in someone’s life? We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and caring Support Worker to join a dedicated care team providing 2 : 1 support for a friendly and enthusiastic man with complex care needs, a brain injury, and a history of sepsis.
You will play a vital role in supporting him to live life to the fullest – assisting with daily living, personal care, therapies, and social activities, while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
The client’s health can fluctuate due to the nature of his complex needs and medical history, including his recovery from sepsis. Support Workers are expected to be observant and responsive, recognising any changes in his presentation, mood, or physical wellbeing. It is essential that care and support are adjusted appropriately in response to these changes, while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety are maintained at all times. Any variations in health or behaviour should be promptly reported and documented in line with the care plan and guidance from the relevant health care professional.
If you’re enthusiastic about making a difference and want to be part of a supportive and rewarding environment – we’d love to hear from you!
