About the role

Our Financial Services Technology Data and Resilience (TDR) team helps FS firms navigate a fast‑moving regulatory landscape while helping them manage complex data and technology environments. From shaping data strategies to uplifting their data maturity through enhanced data management practices we combine deep sector insight with leading technology to solve problems alongside our clients.

What your days will look like:
  • Data Strategy: Lead the development of enterprise‑wide data strategies, data policies and operating models that embed sustainable data management and AI practices while ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards and aligning with sector‑specific operational requirements.
  • Data Governance: Advise clients on improving data quality, lineage and controls to address regulatory gaps, strengthen internal oversight and enhance data governance capabilities. This includes enabling greater confidence in reporting/analytics and the adoption of AI.
  • Transformation: Support front and back‑office transformation initiatives by improving data architecture to enhance pricing, claims automation, regulatory reporting, customer insights and risk management. Lead delivery teams on complex change programs from solution design to managing onshore and offshore technical delivery teams, fostering business insights, transformation and innovation.
  • AI Integration: Leveraging AI and automation to improve scalability and performance in data management and implementation activities such as data discovery, data quality monitoring and policy enforcement.
Client Engagement & Delivery
  • Business Development: and with clients to achieve sustained outcomes across the full data lifecycle from assessment and design to implementation and optimisation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate policies and strategies.
  • Project Leadership: and technologically adept teams integrating AI and technological tools to optimise performance.
  • Change Management: Actively contribute to the execution of business change and risk transformation projects potentially managing concurrent client programmes. Report updates to Senior Managers and above while developing strategies to address complex technical challenges, assisting firms in rethinking their approach to risk and control and implementing effective and lasting change.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand engagement with both new and existing clients.
The role is for you if:
  • Expertise in Insurance or Banking sector enables clients to modernise and future‑proof their data capabilities by designing strategic operating models and deploying fit‑for‑purpose tools and platforms.
  • Extensive experience in Consulting or advisory experience to navigate complex industry‑specific data challenges including regulatory scrutiny, evolving customer expectations and legacy operating models.
  • Good understanding of the data governance ecosystem within Insurance or banking sector to facilitate strategic and technological transformations to enhanced data governance capabilities.
  • Utilise your understanding of regulatory drivers such as Solvency II and IFRS 17 alongside data‑management frameworks like DAMA and DCAM to aid clients in crafting sustainable data strategies with effective governance helping insurers and banks alike enhance their data maturity, governance and reporting practices through innovative and sustainable means.
  • Familiarity with insurance markets and regulations (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS 17, PRA) and exposure to cloud data environments and modern data architectures is preferred.
