Front Office Python Developer Trading Systems

They are looking for a Front Office Software Engineer with excellent Python experience to be at the forefront of this evolution.

As a Front Office Python Software Engineer, this is an incredible opportunity to work side-by-side with Traders, building high-performance systems and innovative tools contributing to PnL, by helping Traders understand markets, forecast movements, and act with confidence.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering directly with Traders to design, build, and own production Trading systems developed in Python
• Designing and developing solutions to analyse market data, manage trading positions, and support the models that drive front-office decision-making
• Designing cloud-native tools integrating with the Front Office platforms to provide enhances analytics and tooling for Traders and Front Office teams

To be a successful applicant, you will need:

• Extensive experience of Software Engineering using Python (Pandas, Numpy, FastAPI) to a high standard, building highly performant systems and platforms used by Traders
• Experience working in a Hedge Fund, Trading firm, or similar working directly with front-office stakeholders (e.g. Traders, Portfolio Managers)
• Strong experience with Containerisation technologies (e.g. Kubernetes or Docker)
