Royal Hampton Care Home is a Luxury Care Setting in Ponteland.

We are looking to recruit a Front of House/Kitchen assistant to join our existing team.

We are keen to attract kind, caring, professional staff who really care and will go the extra mile for their residents.

Key Tasks
  • At all times to maintain effective communication and liaison with the Crown Care Group home manager, Head Chef and Chef to ensure the smooth, safe and effective provision of catering / food services.
  • To assist the Head Chef / Chef in preparing nutritious, balanced meals consistent to the needs and choices of service users.
  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen, dining and storage areas.
  • To keep food free from harmful bacteria and disease.
  • To be responsible (under the supervision of the Head Chef) for the serving and removal of food.
  • To promote and display a professional image commensurate with the high standards of the Crown Care Group.
  • In conjunction with the wider care team to adhere to the home’s philosophies and goals and statement of purpose.
  • To show hosting skills by offering visitors and guests refreshments.
  • Ensure the home's bar area is stocked and kept clean.
  • To ensure all dining and Bistro areas are kept tidy, set up and well stocked with food stuffs, beverages, cutlery and crockery.
  • Ensure appropriate music is being played at all times.
  • Help with special events.
  • Ensure correct menus for each day are available and displayed throughout the home on stands and tables.
  • To maintain appropriate workflow in the kitchen by assuring prompt clearing and washing of dishes, crockery, pots and pans.
