Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK seeks a Front-End Security Developer to ensure secure design and implementation of front-end applications. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in development, strong C++ skills, and a background in cybersecurity. This hybrid role requires 4 days in the Scottish office and candidates must already be authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing desktop applications and/or web applications.
• Self-directed and motivated in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform security requirements analysis.
• Conduct risk analysis and threat modelling.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and applicable standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by staying updated on emerging threats.

Skills

C++ programming skills

Web application frameworks (i.e. Angular)

Understanding of encryption algorithms

Familiarity with Linux and Windows

Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities

Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices

Education

Engineering degree in Software, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or equivalent
