Job description

Systems engineering is an outcome driven collaboration with customers, colleagues and partners through a focussed and proactive approach to define and optimise subsea developments. It requires a holistic view where a ‘systematic’ approach to design is deployed. This necessitates a robust understanding of project value drivers, key technical challenges and overarching parameters including reservoir performance and subsurface profiling, flow assurance boundary conditions and system operability, environmental conditions, constructability, design life and intervention requirements, and abandonment and decommissioning frameworks.

As a Lead Subsea Systems Engineer, you will be operating within a multi-disciplinary team. You will be challenged to lead or support Front End Engineering & Development studies, where you will partner with product experts and give overarching systems-level direction and support to projects and technology development programs. In addition to providing systems input, conducting trade studies and leading field development activities, you will be accountable for cost, schedule, quality and HS&E performance of the studies you deliver. You may also contribute to process improvement initiatives and study hand-offs to tendering or/or project execution teams.

You will be supporting the regional sales and commercial teams in interacting with Customer, providing technical expertise support during early engagement activities, leading to contract award and successful project delivery
