Job description

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to generate sponsorship revenue for our Women into Leadership and Ethnic Minorities into Leadership Awards. You’ll mainly focus on these events while actively seeking new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand our products, industry and competitors.
  • Maintain regular client contact, offering innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Portfolio to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Identify potential customers using a variety of different media.
  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert to sales.
  • Identify and account manage past multi buyers and key customer.
  • Convert individuals from the researched and prospects list and convert to sales.
  • Track and report progress on leads, pipeline, conversions, and forecasts.
  • Report progress on number of contacts, pipeline, conversion rates and sales on a weekly basis.
  • Report to Head of Portfolio on sales and forecasts.

Ideal Candidate

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (event/media sales preferred).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes/and or previous sales training.
  • Ambitious and eager to grow professionally.
  • Excellent communicator with strong commercial awareness.
  • Confident dealing with clients at all levels.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
  • Collaborative, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
