Forklift Workshop Engineer Vacancy – Maidenhead!

We are looking for a Forklift Workshop Engineer to work at our Maidenhead depot, the hub of our fleet for the South of England. The role is ideal for recently qualified, newly qualified or trainee technicians (Car, Van, HGV, Plant) looking to break into the motor trade in a forklift/material handling environment.

Compensation & Working Conditions
  • Up to £31,000 salary depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday working hours only – no weekends
  • 25 days holiday allowance + overtime paid at a higher rate

Responsibilities
  • Service and maintenance of diesel, LPG and electrical material handling equipment
  • Fault finding, planned preventive maintenance and pre‑delivery inspection of forklift trucks
  • Maintain a clean and orderly working area, including common areas
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and workshop rules
  • Use a tablet to complete job cards and ensure all required parts are ordered
  • Work as a cohesive team member to ensure that engineering tasks are completed within set time frames
