Drystack marina Operative, Poole

£27,200 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading marina operator as a Drystack Marina Operative in the beautiful coastal town of Poole! Our client operates multiple premier marinas across the UK and abroad, offering world-class berthing and boatyard services. They are seeking a dedicated, safety-conscious, and customer-focused individual to join their dynamic operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the safe and efficient storage, movement, and preparation of boats within the drystack facility.
  • Support lifting, blocking, pressure washing, towing, and relaunching of vessels under supervision.
  • Carry out safety and security checks on vessels, buildings, vehicles, and the marina site.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented marina environment, ensuring compliance with company and HSE standards.
  • Support berthing operations and assist customers with boat handling and service requests.
  • Serve fuel to customers and process payments in line with company procedures.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow all safety and operational protocols.
  • Provide a professional, high-quality service in all customer interactions.
About You
  • Previous experience in a marina, boatyard, or outdoor operational role is desirable but not essential.
  • Forklift experience is not required — full training will be provided.
  • A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and undertaking hands‑on duties.
  • Physically fit and reliable with a proactive approach to daily tasks.

Working Hours / Shift Pattern:

  • 12-hour shifts.
  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
  • Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday.
