A renowned manufacturing company is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative in the North East England. Responsibilities include unloading/loading goods, checking deliveries, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean workspace. The ideal candidate will have a counterbalance licence, warehouse experience, and good communication skills. Training hours are from 08:00 to 16:30 at £12.21 per hour, moving to shifts at £15.26 per hour. This is an ongoing position with overtime available.

Job description

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Durham area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role:

• Unloading and loading vehicles, picking stock and putting away materials and finished goods in the correct location.
• You will ensure all thermoforming and extrusion lines are adequately serviced/replenished with materials.
• You will ensure goods delivered by suppliers are checked against delivery notes and are recorded accurately.
• Returning materials to the warehouse post production ensuring material is securely wrapped, labelled and transferred to the correct location using the company’s stock control system.
• As Warehouse Operative you will complete stock checks and cycle counts updating the system accurately.
• As a Warehouse Operative you will be working with your team to maintain a clean, safe working area.

The Person:

• Counterbalance licence is essential
• Warehouse Experience
• Manufacturing understanding
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and preferably has used warehousing software previously
• Good verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Ability to take & follow instructions

The Hours:

Training Hours will be 08:00am to 16:30pm, £12.21 Per Hour

You will then move onto continental shift rotations

• 4 on 4 off
• 06:00 – 18:00
• 18:00 – 06:00

• £12.21 per hour during first few weeks training
• £15.26 Per hour on shifts
