Overview

Progress Teachers is currently seeking a passionate and motivated individual who loves the outdoors and believes in making learning exciting, hands-on, and memorable for students within an alternate provision. We are working with a fantastic Alternate Provision located in Tamworth, looking to recruit a Forest School Assistant to support the delivery of engaging outdoor education sessions.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about outdoor learning and is either Forest School trained or eager to complete a Level 1 or 2 Forest School qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting a qualified Forest School Leader to deliver daily forest school sessions
  • Assisting with planning and leading creative outdoor learning activities for children aged 11-16 years
  • Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment in a woodland setting
  • Encouraging exploration, confidence-building, and a love for nature among all participants
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Has experience or a strong interest in Forest School education
  • Enjoys working with young children in an outdoor environment
  • Is dependable, friendly, and team-oriented
