Location: Coleshill

Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Monarch Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Forest School Lead to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Coleshill. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who can plan and deliver engaging Forest School sessions across all year groups, promoting outdoor learning and a love for nature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead inspiring Forest School lessons for pupils from EYFS through to Year 6.
  • Create a safe, stimulating outdoor environment that encourages exploration, independence, and resilience.
  • Develop and implement a progressive Forest School curriculum tailored to different age groups.
  • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety standards and risk assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to integrate outdoor learning into the wider school curriculum.
  • Promote wellbeing, teamwork, and environmental awareness through hands‑on experiences.
Requirements
  • Forest School Leader qualification / TA qualification or Teacher Qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience delivering Forest School sessions across primary age ranges.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to outdoor education, sustainability, and child development.
  • Ability to inspire and engage pupils in a natural setting.
