Food Technology Teacher

Tradewind are looking for a creative, engaging, structured teacher of Food Technology for a permanent starting from January 2026. They are an ‘Outstanding’ school located in Harrow and can offer excellent opportunities for professional development and a great working environment. Their GCSE examination results are consistently very good, and Ofsted described students as ‘quite rightly very proud of their school and their own excellent achievements’.

Responsibilities

• Teach and plan high quality lessons in which students make at least good progress.
• Teach all students and key stages across the curriculum as required by the timetable.
• Deliver consistently good or better lessons (as identified by OfSTED criteria).

The school is based in Harrow and has excellent transport links. Its facilities are excellent with well‑resourced classrooms that motivate and support students and staff. They offer high‑quality CPD and also have an onsite gym.

Requirements

• Hold QTS status or QTLS.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• Provide a CV covering full employment/education history (including any employment breaks). Preferred: a 10‑year history.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Ideally be able to provide excellent references.
