Food Service Assistant – Sodexo is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join our catering team. This role involves supporting the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages, ensuring an excellent experience for our clients and customers.

What you’ll do
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation to company standards.
  • Deliver efficient, friendly customer service in all catering areas.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic service and dining environment.
  • Serve customers at counters, ensuring food and beverages meet brand and company standards.
  • Operate tills, check floats, and complete cashing up procedures.
  • Record food temperatures and check deliveries.
  • Support with cleaning tasks across catering equipment, utensils, and service areas.
  • Ensure counters, tables and accompaniments are fully stocked and well-presented.
  • Support special functions and provide cover in other areas when needed.
  • Follow all health & safety practices and company policies.
