Responsibilities

• Drive Counterbalance and/or Reach Fork Lift Trucks (predominantly truck-based, with occasional work away from the truck)
• Transport materials throughout the facility to the point of use
• General warehouse duties and Manual Handling
• Use handheld scanners to locate and identify products
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks on your vehicle
• Decant deliveries and pick parts

Pay Rate and Working Hours

• PM shifts:
• Monday – Thursday 16:30 – 02:30; Friday off; Pay rate £15.96 per hour (rises to £16.82 after 6 months)
• Monday – Thursday 15:30 – 00:15; Friday 11:15 – 15:45; Pay rate £15.96 per hour (rises to £16.82 after 6 months)
• Monday – Thursday 14:45 – 23:30; Friday 10:30 – 15:00; Pay rate £15.96 per hour (rises to £16.82 after 6 months)
• Night shifts:
• Monday 21:30 – 06:30; Tuesday – Thursday 22:00 – 06:30; Friday 17:30 – 22:30; Pay rate £16.89 per hour (rises to £17.80 after 6 months)

Requirements

• A valid FLT Counterbalance OR Reach OR Combi license through a recognised awarding body (RTITB/ ITSSAR) — in-house licences accepted
• At least 6 months of forklift driving experience
• Health and Safety awareness
