Overview

Lycon Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Forklift Driver (FLT) to join one of the UK's leading builders' merchants. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual to secure ongoing work with an immediate start.

Location: PL25 (St Austell)

Start Date: ASAP

Shifts: Monday to Friday - daytime hours

Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift (Counterbalance) to load and unload building materials such as timber, bricks, and bagged goods
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out operations
• Supporting day-to-day yard and warehouse duties
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures
• Providing friendly, helpful service to trade and retail customers

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance)
• Previous forklift or yard experience, ideally within a builders' merchant or construction supply environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Safety-conscious, punctual, and reliable
• Available to start immediately
