Flexographic Printer – Royston

Full time

£30,000 to £37,000 depending on experience

We’re working with a well-established label and packaging manufacturer based in Royston. They produce high quality labels for a wide range of industries and are known for their clean, modern production environment and long term investment in their people. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring up to two Print Operators with flexographic experience into the team.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and supporting flexographic printing presses within a label production environment
• Setting up jobs, assisting with plate changes, inks and colour
• Monitoring print quality and supporting smooth production runs
• Working closely with production and QA teams
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised press area

Shifts

• Monday to Friday only
• Either 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm (rotating weekly)
• No weekends
• No bank holidays

What they're looking for

• Experience in flexographic printing or label production would be ideal
• Experience on Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Uteco or similar presses is a big advantage
• Print operators from other print backgrounds will be considered if they have the right attitude and want to learn flexo
• UK based candidates only
• Ideally able to drive due to the site location
• Able to commute to Royston or willing to relocate
• A positive, reliable team player with good attention to detail
