Flexible Secondary Classroom Support Supervisor – Wellingborough / Rushden

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Flexible Secondary Classroom Support Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in the Wellingborough and Rushden areas. This flexible role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education staff looking to gain classroom experience while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Role

• Supervise classes during the short‑term absence of teaching staff
• Deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support a calm, safe, and productive learning environment
• Gain valuable experience working in local secondary schools

Ideal Candidate

• Confident supervising groups of secondary‑aged students
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible, professional and proactive in approach
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable (but not essential)
• An interest in education or a future teaching career is advantageous
