Overview

At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. If you're looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force offers contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, with shifts across our care homes in the Leeds area. Shifts may include days, nights and weekends and are scheduled Monday to Sunday. As a Flex Force Care Assistant, you will travel between a cluster of our homes, which is an essential and expected part of the role. Flexibility is key to support the needs of each home while keeping control over your schedule. The homes include: Aberford Hall (LS8 2QU), Acacia Court (LS28 7BW), Augustus Court (LS25 1HG), Colton Lodges (LS15 9HH) & Rievaulx House (LS12 4LL).

About The Role

As a Flexible Care Assistant at HC-One, you will value kindness above all. The role covers our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, with residents who have their own stories to tell. You will play a part in delivering long- or short-term care, including respite and palliative care, focusing on the highest quality care while preserving dignity and individuality. You will engage in general activities within the care home and may assist residents with limited mobility, or provide emotional support and end-of-life care, keeping their well-being at the forefront.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant
  • A driving license with access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; be able to recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do and seek appropriate advice. All colleagues should attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional relevant training
  • Comfortable with technology and digital care planning; willing to learn as HC-One grows its digital capabilities
