Overview

Railway Transport Planning Professional – Inside IR35

Contract Length: 3 months initially

We are seeking an experienced Railway Transport Planning Professional to join our team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled and able to demonstrate competence across a range of railway planning disciplines, with proven experience in busy depot environments.

Key Requirements
  • Strong background in Maintenance Planning.
  • Solid understanding of Railway timetabling and diagram allocations.
  • Knowledge of resource planning, including depot capacity and limitations.
  • Proficient understanding of RoGS and railway documentation (e.g., Rules of the Depot).
  • Hands-on experience with computer-based management systems such as SRMS, SAP, Intergale, Gemini, etc.
  • Knowledge of both planned and reactive maintenance requirements within a high-demand depot.
  • Ability to remain agile and adapt to changing operational planning requirements.
  • Flexibility to support ad hoc and special events when required.
  • This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and precision are key.
