Job description
About us

At Splend, we’re on a mission to fundamentally change the way people own and operate a vehicle. With a strategic focus on Rideshare, we provide our customers straight forward, no strings attached access to vehicle ownership.

But we aren’t just about vehicle ownership; We are also fast-tracking the transition to green mobility, and we are leading the way globally in reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation sector by transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles.

About the role

As a Fleet Coordinator at Splend, your core responsibility is to keep vehicles on the road and reduce VOR (Vehicle Off-Road) time. You’ll do this through hands-on vehicle coordination, site-level logistics, supplier relationship management, and process ownership. You’ll be the operational backbone of our Cricklewood hub - making sure customer and sales vehicles are where they need to be, when they need to be, and in roadworthy condition.

This is a dynamic, physical, and fast-paced role, with daily movement of vehicles and regular problem-solving to ensure everything runs smoothly across our growing multi-site operation.

Responsibilities
  • Track and reduce vehicle off-road (VOR) by monitoring off-road cars, find causes, and coordinate fixes to get them road-ready fast.
  • Take delivery of new vehicles by conducting checks, Geotab fitting, key tagging, and system updates to prep cars for sale or rental.
  • Prepare cars and documents. Manage PCO inspection days and handle scanning, uploads, and paperwork.
  • Work closely with dealers, repairers, and service partners to speed up turnaround and reduce delays.
  • Coordinate vehicle logistics through moving cars daily between dealers, body shops, MOT centres, and sites to keep operations flowing.
  • Organise and manage yard layout and oversee site-to-site transfers to support multi-site operations.
  • Inspect vehicles regularly and reporting damage or safety issues.
  • Manage servicing and MOT bookings. Scheduling cars in with our partners and make sure they’re prepped, moved, and returned on time.
  • Install and manage tracking units (Geotab), support customer setups, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Prepare vehicles for customer use, making sure cars are clean, charged, safe, and ready to hand over.
  • Support internal stakeholder teams to solve problems and keep vehicles moving.
What you\'ll bring
  • Proven track record in vehicle operations, ideally in a fleet or PCO environment.
  • Able to manage multiple workflows, coordinate moving parts, and keep things running smoothly.
  • You will have high energy and strong work ethic bringing positivity, and a hands-on attitude.
  • You take proactive ownership of problems and flag issues early.
  • You’ll have exceptional attention to detail. Noticing things like worn tyres, missing keys, or the wrong document.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, systems, and working directly with vehicles.
  • Confident dealing with teammates, suppliers, and drivers — in person and over the phone.
  • A Full UK licence required.
  • Comfortable commuting daily to our Cricklewood Hub.
What We Offer
  • Performance-Based Bonus
  • 5 additional days of flexi leave to recharge
  • 5 fully paid sick days per year
  • Wellbeing Support with access to confidential counselling through our EAP
  • Access to our dedicated platform to support career growth
  • Health insurance and a monthly wellness allowance
