Yorkshire Ambulance Service: Ancillary Services Team

Optional shift 25 hours per week, Premise Cleaner at our Head Quarters Wakefield.

Shift option: 5am or 6am start time, 5 hour shifts Monday - Friday between agreed working days and times are dependent upon provision required, due to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service being a 24/7 Emergency Service.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning, decontamination, and other associated tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention and Control measures required across our stations and sites.
  • Ensuring all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and specific daily work schedules.
  • Achieving and maintaining all required standards of cleanliness across the organization, including entrances, foyers, public and staff washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurant's, gym's, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, landings, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas and other associated areas.
  • Maintaining adequate stocks of cleaning materials and recording all daily activities, including urgent spillage, ad‑hoc cleaning, and deep cleaning as requested or where identified.
  • Using basic IT to access and input information (e.g., emails and timesheets).
