Responsibilities
- Assemble, fit, and test products to agreed engineering standards and processes
- Carry out surveys, inspections, and repairs in line with approved practices
- Ensure strict compliance with quality procedures, defined processes, and documentation requirements
- Work independently to complete fitting tasks without supervision
- Identify and support productivity and performance improvements to reduce costs and drive efficiency
- Contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all health, safety, and environmental requirements
What We're Looking For
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship or gained equivalent hands-on fitting experience
- Strong background in mechanical fitting, assembly, or repair within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Good understanding of quality systems, measurement tools, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with lean methodology and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to manage workload effectively, solve problems, and work well in a team environment
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and high standards of workmanship
